I’ve owned my Freedom Camper for six months now and have already taken it through three states and two snowstorms. It’s warm, solid, and incredibly easy to load into my F-150. I love that I can pull it out when I need to haul gear, and it never feels cramped, even with my hunting gear packed in. Worth every penny.

Contact UsThe only difference is the mounting kit that comes in the box. The Truck Bed Camper ships with the Truck Mounting Kit, which secures it in a pickup bed.
The Trailer Camper ships with the Trailer Mounting Kit, which bolts it to a utility trailer.
The truck mounting kit costs more to build because it's a heavier setup. It includes four turnbuckles, eight side-mount plates, four D-rings, and a full hardware set.
While the Truck Mounting Kit is included with the Truck Camper, you can also buy it separately for $150. The Trailer Mounting Kit is $39.99. That difference is the whole price gap. The camper is the same price either way.
The camper body fits either one. The hardware doesn't.
Each kit is built for the setup it's sold with, so if you buy the Truck Bed Camper and later want it on a trailer, you'd add a Trailer Mounting Kit ($39.99).

Yes! Freedom Campers are very versatile and can be used in trucks and trailers, depending on the size selected. While the Trailer Camper includes a Trailer Mounting Kit, you can optionally purchase a Truck Mounting Kit as well to securely attach the camper to your truck bed.
For the 48x79, 58x79, and 58x89 models, a raised platform is required to elevate the camper above your truck’s wheel wells. This not only ensures proper fitment but also creates valuable storage space underneath. What we like to call "the garage."
Multiple aftermarket drawer systems are compatible with the Freedom Camper.

Yes, it's designed with premium insulation to keep occupants warm and dry in various weather conditions. From the middle of winter to the peak of summer, the Freedom Camper is a great way to stay out of the elements when needed.
Due to its ultralight build (175-270 lbs), it requires only two people to load, unload, and store.
Lived in this thing for over a month traveling the country from Pigion Forge TN across the USA and Canada to Alaska and back 10 national parks on the way loved every minute of it it worked out perfectly with no problems at all.
We've had ours for over 2 years now and have done tons of upgrades and traveled well over 10,000 miles with our unit. Getting to upgrade our own space has been a really fun experience! It's basic, but it keeps us mobile, dry and has been a fantastic to our travels!
I bought the Freedom Camper to offset hotel cost while traveling for business to hunting expos across the country. It has paid for itself in hotel fees that I don't have to pay now. We also use it in the off season on a trailer for an overland camper. We'll made, super comfy, and very well insulated. Highly recommend getting one.
