Flatbeds and trailers

Flat decks and trailer decks are not on the chart above because there is only one question that matters: how wide is the deck. Wider than 72.5 inches and the 72 x 89 fits, which is the widest interior we build. Narrower than that and you are choosing from the same sizes the trucks use. A camper on a flat deck rides on the Trailer Camper mounting kit, not the truck kit, because there are no bed rails to clamp to.

How to read the chart

• Bed length is the inside floor length of the bed with the tailgate closed. Measure yours before you order. Trim packages and model years move it by an inch or two.
• Tailgate down means the camper is longer than the bed, so the tailgate folds flat and the camper overhangs it. That is a normal, supported setup, not a compromise.
• Tailgate up means the camper clears inside the bed with the gate closed.
• Also fits lists the other sizes that work on the same truck. The recommended size is the one most people order, not the only one that fits.
• The 48 x 79 shows up on every full-size truck for one reason: it is narrow enough to sit between the wheel wells. Pick it if you do not want to run your camper on a platform. The 58" sizes ride above the wheel wells on the platform that comes with them.
